Macbook Air 2021 with M1 chip renders red into pink
I've been on the new Macbook Air for two day now and am disturbed that the color rendering seems quite 'off'. The color profile in Displays is set to 'Color LCD', which I presume is default, there are many other settings but I wouldn't want to change them without advice.
There are numerous examples of this distinct pink toning that can be seen when this new one is placed alongside my older, 2015, Macbook Air. A newspaper, for example, will show the flag 'Breaking' over an article which is rendered on this this 2021 M1 chip model as distinctly pink, while on the 2015 Macbook Air it is red as intended.
Has anyone else noticed this, or perhaps there's an adjustment I can make to achieve real colors as intended.
P.S. The True Tone offering appears to only slightly affect the background color, it has no affect on the other screen colors. I have it unticked, as it seems not to have any point.
Thank You
