carplay with fortuner Legender

I have a new Fortuner Legender and carplay worked well with my iPhone X. I just changed to an iPhone 12 Pro and it does not recognize my car anymore. Everything is active "Siri", "carplay", etc ... I checked it all, everything is on but does not work. Now I upgraded to IOS 14.4 with big hopes and my iPhone still does not recognize my car meaning I CANNOT USE MY CARPLAY WITH MY NEW CAR AND NEW PHONE !!! How frustrating. I went through all sites, communities, helps. Tried everything (even 5 different cables) but nothing. I think I will I change my car and my phone ...

Read your driver's manual to find out more about syncing this.

For many, they must have their automobile in park to get this to all pair.
