Apple TV 4K Input Lag On LG BX 55

Hi guys,

A couple of months ago I've purchased an LG BX 55 and only recently I noticed that on it the Apple TV 4K that I've been using for the past couple of years has now significant input lag, both in navigation but especially when playing Apple Arcade games (previously I've been using a Panasonic plasma TV and had no issue whatsoever). I've double checked my TV settings to make sure that no weird post processing effect was active and I used Game mode, but the lag when using a Dualshock 4 is so bad that it's basically impossible to play any game (sometimes inputs are not registered at all).

Last night on a whim I've decided to force the Apple TV to output at 1080p 60htz instead of 4k HDR and instantly the lag almost completely disappeared, both from navigation within the menus and games (for reference, originally the Apple TV was set to 4K HDR and I've turned on Match Content).

Obviously this is not the best solution as I'd need to constantly switch resolution depending on what I'm doing, but did anybody perhaps had a similar issue and found out what the **** is causing the massive lag?
