how do I change administrators on an older MacBook Pro
I want my husband to be able to use my previous MacBook Pro as his computer. How do I change it to be him as the administrator and his iCloud etc? Thanks!
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Thank you. I would like to leave some stuff on the hard drive for him to use. Can I simply delete programs and files that he won't need? What about erasing my passwords that have accumulated as well as credit cards that have been used? And then, how do I change the administrator?
ADD a new Admin account for your spouse. You can have multiple accounts that have Admin access.
DON'T try to change the name of the existing account, that leads to disaster. DON'T delete your old files unless/until you are positive you don't need them any more. Then wait a week.
I appreciate your warnings! I will just add him as a new Admin in System Preferences/Users & Groups, right? I just "migrated" to a new MacBook Air ☺️ so I feel like all my stuff is safely moved. I just want to free up some space for him on the old one. Thanks so much for your helpful reply!
