Problem Installing Starcraft 2

Hey everyone, I hope this is the right forum... Anyways, I downloaded Starcraft 2 digitally through Blizzard, but when I click the Installer.app to install it, nothing happens... I've been getting this message in console:

Jul 28 16:15:36 Teh-Big-Pwnz com.apple.launchd[405] ([0x0-0x97097].com.blizzard.Installer[515]): posix_spawnp("/SC2-WingsOfLiberty-enUS-Installer/Installer.app/Contents/Resourc es/Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/Installer", ...): Permission denied

Can anyone help me fix this issue? I'm not the best with macs yet, but I do reallllly want to play some SC2 and am willing to try any suggestions!

Try the Blizzard forum area - http://us.blizzard.com/support/index.xml?locale=en_US&gameId=13

Starcraft cannot play on os 10.0 which is a beta os system. If your system information is correct, why did you post in the Snow Leopard forum?

Furthermore, I can't access the SC2 forums for technical support because I can't login to create a character and the forums require that you do (Very nice planning on Blizzard's part - how can you request help if you can't post!?).

I also encountered the same issue. I was able to install after modifying the permission of two files in the Install.app through Terminal.

$ chmod 755 SC2-WingsOfLiberty-zhTW-Installer/Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/InstallerLaunche r
$ chmod 755 SC2-WingsOfLiberty-zhTW-Installer/Installer.app/Contents/Resources/Installer.ap p/Contents/MacOS/Installer

hmm...when I copy those commands into terminal, it gives me "No such file or directory" error...

hi i am also having the same permission problem but i am not familar with terminal and used the instructions given but still cannot get permission i am signed in as administrator and everything if someone can give me a clearer step by step would be great!

this is what i get in terminal
$ sudo chmod -R 755/Users/kala/Desktop/SC2-WingsOfLiberty-enUS-Installer/Installer.app/Contents /MacOS/InstallerLauncher
Password:
usage: chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-a | +a | =a [# [ n]]] mode|entry file ...

thanks for the advice, Ron Huang, it worked for me too.

tip for rookie Terminal users:
an easy way to avoid typos and get the correct file path is to just drag an icon directly into the Terminal command line.

Man, you rock. I just knew it had to be permissions related, but didn't know where to start. Run the changes and hey presto... I am in! I was dreading on having to resort to playing in Windows! Thanks.

Thanks dude it fixed it, I had the same problem clicked launcher it didn't launch. This is sad. I can't believe blizz can't even fix a simple user persmission error. I paid good money for the digital download but blizz can't even get this simple thing right. Blizz's quality has gone down so badly. btw I hope some ppl have reported this to the blizz forums.
