How do you find out what app is recording you when the little red dot is in your right hand corner top screen

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 14

The little red dot does NOT signify that anything is recording. All it shows is that the microphone is turned on, or in other parlance your mic is hot. If you see it and slide open Control Center and the top you should see it again with what app has turned on the mic next to it. For example, if you are talking to someone on the iPhone and you slide it down it will say iPhone.


Do not listen to rumors, Fake News, etc. it does not have anything to do with recording you. All it does is show you whether your microphone is turned off or on.
