Reboot

How does one turn off/reboot new iPad. Have pressed ‘home button’ as instructed but nothing happens.

You can shut down your iPad in several ways...


1) Press-and-hold the Top (Sleep/Wake) button until the on-screen slider appears - then slide to shut-down the iPad.


2) From iPad settings:

Settings > General > Shut Down - then slide the on-screen slider to shut-down the iPad.
