No frequency update option on screen (MacBook Pro 2019)

I got a new MacBook Pro (2019), and I got a presentation in which there is a frequency option that does not come up on mine. The presentation shows this:

On the right is what is presented, and on the left is the options I have, which as you can see does not have the "Oppd.frekv" (Frequency update):

I have updated to Big Sure, and the info about my MacBook is:

  • MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)
  • 2,3 GHz Åttekjerners Intel Core i9
  • 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
  • Macintosh HD
  • Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

MacBook Pro Retina

That is it ! I now got the frequency update. I just had to hold the "option" key in when I clicked on "scaled". It was already set on 60Hz.

By the way, now I understand the "external display" - which I assume is a 2nd. monitor (separate screen).

16-inch (3072 × 1920)

If you have no external display attached, you have no option to change the frequency ...(?)

if are you in Video editing software...you can set the refresh rate of your display to match the frame rate of the video you're editing or viewing.

Otherwise you will see no option...

Maybe there is more, see the ref:

Change the refresh rate on your 16-inch MacBook Pro or Apple Pro Display XDR
