Iwatch se charges ultra slow from 84%

I have noticed during the day my iwatch charges normally from 50% to 100% in around 45mins. But after 21.30hrs at night when I put it on charge it gets stuck at 84% and stays at that percentage until I go to bed. , it was at 69% at shortly before 21.30 it got to 84% and has not budged even an hour later, It does reach 100% by the morning when I wake up.

any idea why the last 20% is taking all night????
