Plex support

I need to download movies in either MP4 or M4v format. They keep downloading as movpkg. How can I change this or convert???

I can only download the HLS version of movies to my Mac. Where are the actual MP4 versions? I bought a movie and tried to download the movie as usual. Only this time I am only able to download the HLS video stream and not the actual movie as in the past. I download and view locally because my internet service provider has data caps. Is this the new normal?
