I can’t turn off my iPad

1. Hold down the Power button at the top right corner of the iPad for three seconds. (If you have an iPad Pro with Face ID, you'll have to hold the Power button and either of the volume buttons for three seconds.)

2. Slide the red power icon that appears on the screen to the right.

You can also go to settings, general, shutdown. Then slide the screen slider to complete shutdown.
