Target display mode with iMac 27" (mid 2011)

I own 2 old macs :

  • 1 macbook pro mid 2009
  • 1 iMac 27" mid 2011 (with 2 thunderbolt ports)

I would like to use the Target Display Mode in order to display stuff from the macbook pro on the screen

Which cable do I need to buy as the Macbook pro has no thunderbolt capabilities...

Thanks for answers or feedback.

The 2011 iMac uses Thunderbolt and can't be used in Target Display Mode with a non-Thunderbolt Mac.
