Calendar is Frozen: No Invitations message

I opened Calendar to see what meetings I have today. Calendar says 'No Invitations'. I cannot move on from that screen. I have tried going into settings and turning calendar off and on, merging, etc. but nothing seems to work.

I deleted the app and reinstalled. It is now working.
