Can I plug my Homepod Mini powered by USB
I have wall sockets in my house with USB ports on them. Can I buy an adapter to plug onto the end of the cable to convert the USB-C to standard USB?

There are USB-A—USB-C adaptors. You can buy them at Apple stores and in the wire section of Apple online $29AUD, and most places that sell tech. but wattage wise....do you know what your wall gives out? If it’s lower than what it needs it won’t work/won’t work well. If it’s the right wattage then it will work. But is it really worth spending more money on an adapter to use a USB-A (original USB port) wall port, When you are give a power point for the USB-C in the box, just saying ‘think about it’.

Probably not. HomePod mini needs 20W (9V ~2.22A), or in specific cases can use Apple's 18 W chargers. USB wall outlets are unlikely to be compatible at this time, although they may come along later.
