apple id problem

Hello

I have an iphone 11 from my father, and i made my own apple id soon after i received it.

on the telephone now it writes my new apple id,.

but when i try to download an app, and it asks my apple id password, it does not recognize my password marking that password is incorrect, and when i ask to change it to a new one it shows as my id the one from my father (which is nowhere on my device...) and no matter what i do ( put my id and reset password for it, or change my fathers password) when i try to download, it does the same all the way again and again...( say password is incorrect and when i try to reset password it will pop out with the my fathers id ...)

It is a bit crazy and cannot do something for it...please someone help..

Thank you

A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Purchase History Review.

Or you can try to set up Family Sharing  between the IDs to keep access to your purchases.
