Edit button greyed out from payment and shipping’s tab

So I’m trying to buy something in a game on my phone, so I went to the game and clicked the purchase button, and it said I had to verify my card before purchasing. So I clicked continue but it was the wrong card. So I went to Apple Pay and put my new card in and everything, but when I went to purchase the item in the game, it still said the same thing. It turns out that was my default card. So I went to the payments and shipping tab in settings and there was an edit button at the top left, but it’s greyed out and I can’t tap it. Any help?

"If you can't edit your payment information

Try updating to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS or macOS.

If you have subscriptions, have an unpaid balance, or share purchases with your Family Sharing group, you can't remove all payment information. Get help if you want to use no payment method with your Apple ID."
