Minecraft keeps crashing

I downloaded Minecraft awhile ago, and everything was fine up until about a week ago. I would go and try to play, but all Minecraft would do is bounce in the dock. I tried updating Java, deleting and reinstalling and looking for other solutions - but all the suggestions on the internet seems pretty old or for computers with outdated updates. I recently updated my Mac to the Big Sur... I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. I don't know if you can help me because obviously Minecraft isn't a Apple thing, but I've been looking everywhere, and I don't know where else to go.

If you could help me out that would be nice :)
