I am getting subtitles in spanish at bottom of screen every time a start a show.

I can not turn these off when I go to settings

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 14

The default subtitle language (or Subtitles off) can be set in:

Settings﹥Video and Audio﹥Subtitle Language﹥

Set the language of audio and subtitles - Adjust video and audio settings on Apple TV - Apple TV user guide - Apple Support


To change the subtitle track in the currently playing video:

Turn on subtitles and closed captioning (if available) - Control what’s playing on Apple TV - Apple TV user guide - Apple Support
