camera not working in third party apps like instagram or snapchat

hello Sid here, I own a Iphone se 2020, recently i updated my iphone and now my third party camera apps like instagram and snampchat doesnt work the screen frozes and goes black. i even tried reinstalling them but didnt help. front camera is working fine.the issue is only with rear camera

iOS 16 issues with camera Anyone else having issues with the camera post iOS 16 update? I have an iPhone 13 pro max and noticed after I updated, my camera quality got significantly worse. Pictures look blurry and low resolution, and I've tried everything from resetting the phone to downloading third party camera apps. Both front and back cameras just took a massive hit in quality. Even worse is I updated to 16.0.2 and somehow the quality got even worse. I'm wondering if anyone has the same issue and was able to fix it?

iphone 13 pro max wide angle camera not working Hi! My wide angle camera seems to not be working properly. The phone hasn’t been dropped, hasn’t been anywhere near water - it suffered no damage. I tried to take some photos today and when I zoom below 1.0 (so when the wide angle camera kicks in), the photos turn out like this. Also, those vertical coloured lines show up while taking the pic. I have the most recent software update (16.2). Has anyone encountered this before?

It seems you're having trouble with your camera and we can help.

Does the rear-facing camera work in the Camera app itself?

Try going through the steps seen here:

If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working
