Insert date and/or timestamps in Apple Notes

Hi, is anybody still struggling to find a shortcut to insert date and timestamps in Apple notes? I was and could not find a simple keyboard shortcut to solve it in discussions anywhere (plenty of complicated one that I could not get to work).

After much research and putting together the results of 3 separate posts on various web forums I have a simple Automator 'Quick Action' that works and anybody can write (I have no scripting skills either).
