children: icloud account sharing e.g.

Hi. I'm lost despite been MacOs since the 90s.

I have 2 kids 11 years old. Want's to give them private (photo) life. Also, want's to share my 14.000 photos - with no private stuff. But still, want's to make sure that they don't fall into app buying traps > approval right and actually paying.

What setup do you recommend? I have 200GB iCloud already, up to 10 devices. We're 3 in total that need (locked) own but also shared content.

All help much appreciated - now that every store is closed and service not that available. Jacob

You can set up an iCloud family. Go to Settings>Apple ID (in iPhone)>Family sharing and you can set it up from there by creating iDs for your children or inviting them to join the family if they already have apple iDs. This'll let them have their own calendars, photos, reminders, etc, but your credit card will be the only method of payment for them. You can also set it up in those setting so that in order to buy an app or anything involving a purchase through apple, it'll send you a request you can either approve or deny.

I hope this helps! Apple Family is a great way to stay connected with your kids yet also be private
