Is there a way to retrieve or transfer my information/apps/games if my ipad will not take a charge to a new ipad?

My ipad will not take a charge. I am wondering if I purchase a new one can the information on my old ipad be transferred a new one? The old ipad has died.

If the iPad will not switch-on, any data stored thereon is irretrievable. As such, your only option is to restore an existing iCloud or iTunes backup to your replacement device.
