Deleting your FB account has nothing to do with deleting the app.

You can't figure out how to delete an app so you threaten switching to Android?

Wow.. sad. Have fun with that

If you'd prefer to figure out how to use your device.. see the suggestions below.

you can delete from the App Library by locating the app and tap/hold, select Delete App

or you can go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [app name] > Delete

If you still are unable to delete, check:

Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps

make sure that's set to 'Allow'

or... turn off Screen Time altogether

First off this isn’t the only reason I’m over Apple but thanks for your snarky response. I’ve been frustrated with their updates for years and the last update was the worst for me. But thanks for your help. Based on how many searches I did I know I’m there are a lot of people that are as frustrated as I am and could use your help. It was the “Allow” setting

No, I get it.. That's what these forums are for. You should always feel free to post your questions here and there are many experienced users here that may be able to offer guidance/solutions for you.

I am certainly glad to help where I can. I just see daily threats and anger from other users that think they are accomplishing something by threatening to switch to Android.. which I don't think really inspires people to want to help.

In any case, despite my snarky-ness, I'm glad that you were able to get your app deleted. I suspect that recent updates have inadvertently set that Allow setting you figured out to Don't Allow as I've seen this question far more frequently as of late
