Fan running more often after update

Recently update Mac (Big Sur 11.2) and fan has been running way more often than before. Before it would only run when sharing screen on zoom, or when using numerous applications at the same time; now runs when using chrome and another application, which had never occurred before. Is there any way to revert the update to before so this doesn't happen anymore? Or is there any way to improve my mac to avoid having the fan having to run constantly?
