steelseries Nimbus+ Issue

I just got the Nimbus + and for the game Crossy Road Castle on my iMac running Big Sur there is an issue with the Plus controller. The original starts the game by pressing the A button and then works as it should. The Plus will get past the splash screen but the game on the iMac won’t work with it. And in my iPhone 12 the game works perfectly with both versions of the controller.

Any ideas or suggestions? I have already tried deleting and reinstalling the app and removing and reconnecting the Nimbus+.
