I have received an application as a gift from my friend through an email with a redeem code. And an error is occurring everytime I type in the redeem code which says the redemption of code is unavailable. Try again later. Its been 2 days and the same error is occurring. What do I do to get my app redeemed

Gift apps, music, movies, and more from Apple - Apple Support - Specifically, the section titled "If there's an issue when you send a gift".
If you can't redeem your Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card - Apple Support
If problems persist, then we'd recommend that you Contact Apple Support.
