It says id or password is wrong

My friend has iPhone 5 s. She is old and forgot her Apple ID password. I have created new one but when I want to update apps, it says your id or password is wrong. I couldn’t understand why. I am sure it is true. I changed password three times but it is useless. Please help me

You are welcome. The problem appears to be you created a new ID. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
