About ipad activation lock

Hello, I am from Bangladesh. 6 months ago I bought an ipad air 2 (wifi+cellular) from its owner. It was sent from UK. He forgot his apple id password and find my iphone was turned on. Screen was not passcode locked so i could use everything except icloud. I flashed it with 3u tools ios 13.6.1 and it was stucked in activation lock screen. I tried to contact with the owner but i could not able to. What should i do now ? Plz help me. I can update it into ios 14.4 and bypass the activation screen but I don't want to do that. I want to mention that this ipad icloud status is clean and it's not stolen or blacklisted, imei is clean and sim unlocked.

If the iPad is Activation Locked - and you are unable to independently contact the previous owner - the iPad is useless to you.

Here are the Apple support pages that outline the Activation Lock - and the only mechanisms by which it can be turned off:

Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Turn off Activation Lock – Apple Support

As you will discover, unless you are the owner of the AppleID that was last used to activate the device, or unless you can secure the cooperation of the previous owner, you’ll not be able to defeat or bypass the Activation Lock. Without documentary evidence that you are the original owner (such as sales receipt showing the serial number), Apple won’t assist - and nobody here will be able to help you.
