my top button (off button) is broke and i can not restart my ipad
how to reset my ipad with top button broke, it had been working fine until last night it must have had and update and know it will not restart

If the physical Top button is broken, sooner or later you will encounter a situation from which you’ll not be able to recover. A forced-restart of your iPad, for example, will not be possible.
Your iPad required repair.
If your iPad is simply shut-down, connecting the iPad to its Power Adapter will automatically reboot the iPad. This is not, however, a suitable workaround where a forced-restart of an unresponsive iPad is required.
