homekit secure video eufy

After Eufy’s latest firmware update my Cam2’s (3 of them will not record clips to my iCloud account.


And yes I have a 2TB plan.


Eufy customer support has been very nice but completely useless in providing a solution.


Things I have tried:


1) restart hub and cameras

2) verified settings in both cameras and hub

3) removed hub and cameras from HomeKit and added them back in

4) hard reset of the hub (which erases camera info) and then added the hub and cameras back

I just set up a pair of Eufy outdoor cameras with their HomeBase 2 and am experiencing the same issues. I can only get "Live" feeds in HomeKit - no recordings, and HomeKit notifications are "iffy". All the recordings are still available in the Eufy app. I also contacted Eufy (who told me to wipe everything out and start from scratch, like you) and to restart my iPhone and Apple TV 4 (HomeKit hub). Eufy suggests that it's an Apple problem and Apple tells me it's a hardware problem.... I'm on iOS 14.4 and all firmware is up to date.

Yes, facial recognition works for me as well.

I don't have any resources with in depth information that I've found. I suggest you first check with Eufy/Anker customer support (they are pretty good) and then perhaps with Apple Support (regarding HomeKit and HSV). As I mentioned, everything "snapped" into action as soon as I unplugged and rebooted my Apple TV 4. Make sure your Eufy devices are running the latest firmware, that iOS is 14.4.1 etc etc.
