Alarms
When I download the wake me up app on the MacBook Pro. can I shut the lid and alarm will still ring or can I not do that and I have to shut down the computer also can I leave it plugged in.

You will have to search or ask the Developers website "wake me up app" about their third party app— and how it functions.
Typically there is a Support page/FAQ/Help or a chat/phone number if you have issues.
