If the iPhone is still working, check the battery health. Settings > Battery > Battery Health. 80% or higher is preferred.

Try a different charger and cable, and try this charger and this cable on a different iPhone or iPad.

Ensure that there's no visible damage within the Lightning port, and no debris within the Lightning port, as well. If there is debris, gently try to remove it. Avoid damaging the socket.

If that fails or if there's damage to the Lightning port, use the Get Support link in the upper right, and contact the folks that work at Apple, and discuss your options and alternatives for repairs or for replacement.

Malware does exist for iPhone, but it's very rare, and is also unlikely to be causing the symptoms you're reporting here.

Your iPhone needs a repair.

Probably an routine battery replacement (all batteries inevitably will fail), or maybe a problem with the charging circuitry.
