Imovie error - Not enough Storage - when saving a video to phone when you have enough -- The FIX I used

I had 170 GB of storage on my iphone but got the error message that I did not have enough Storage to save my video. I deleted all the videos/photos in my Recently Deleted folder in the photos app. As soon as I tried to save the video in iMovie again, it immediately said that it was saved. Not sure if it is a glitch in the photos app where you saved videos go or if it is an issue with iMovie.
