Apple Music is “locked” with music playing (and control screen is smaller than usual); I have no control over it, and it continues to play. What gives?

How do I “Control” music when it seems to want to take over? I play a song, it plays, then when I want to do anything, it seems to “ignore” me——the Creator of said playlist, etc., and continues to play, while shrinking the control screen, and all the while, not letting me control ANYTHING! What gives???

Thank you for posting here in Apple Support Communities, MusicforAppleMusicControl.

We understand that you've been experiencing some issues controlling the music on your iPhone, and we'd be happy to help. To get started, we recommend that you check out the information within the following resource: Play music on iPhone - Apple Support

Let's also restart your iPhone to help refresh the iOS software: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Once you've restarted your iPhone, test to see if the same issue occurs when using the music controls within the Music app and from Control Center.

Cheers!
