Voicemail translation

So what happened to the voicemail translation I used to have on my earlier phone?. I am presently on the iPhone 12 pro max. Was that only available in the beta version?

Unable to update voicemail greeting on iPhone 12. Unable to update voicemail greeting on iPhone 12 (work phone). Recorded a new greeting and checked that it had recorded, but greeting reverts to previous recording (ex-employee) when the phone is called. Have tried restarting a few times but at a loss now. Any suggestions?

That was never a feature of iOS.
