Cannot Unlock my Volume and cannot boot

How to unlock Airbook volume after getting told "this suppied ICloud account was unable to unlock this volume"?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! If we understand correctly, you're not able to sign in to your Mac user account and can't reset the password using your Apple ID. If that's right, these steps may help: Reset your Mac login password


If not, let us know more details. Some questions that might be helpful to answer are:


Where are you being prompted for the password, during startup, when signing in to your user account, or somewhere else?

Do you have a firmware password set?

Have you recently made changes to your Apple ID account?


The more details you can provide the better.
