High Data Usage by iPhone 12

I'm trying to determine why my wifi usage at home is so high, and noticed my iPhone 12 had downloaded 87gb of data in one night. How can I identify what app(s)/software updates/etc. are using so much data in order to better manage my wifi data usage?

iPhone 12, iOS 14

Unlike cellular data there is no network traffic tally for wifi.

Do you have iCloud photos turned on and have you recently changed phones?

That is the most likely reason for data traffic levels of that magnitude

Icloud backup on automatic might use that magnitude in the other direction

You may find such tools in App Store but only from now on.

Thanks for the guidance. I do have iCloud photos on, but haven't seen a spike like this in one day before, and only had a couple new pictures taken in the week leading up to the large data volume. Phone is months old, and no recent restore, so can't come up with a really good reason for such a large download. I'll look for some tools in the app store to try and identify any culprits in the future.
