iCLOUD BACKUP DATA on computer reflected 4.7 of 5.0 GB now says 31.1 mb

Hello!

Last night I was restoring and resetting my iphone. Before I erased all contents and data I ensured there was a backup, this used 4.7 of the 5 GB I have. I reset my phone. Upon relogging in to my Icloud login it said there were no backups available. So, I chose restore from Mac. My mac also reflected and held the backup of 4.7 of 5 GB used. When I first began transferring I noticed my contacts, some messages, and Itunes was back on my phone but not apps and photos. My phone was currently reflecting 31.1 MB of 5 GB in my icloud storage used. I left my phone overnight and woke up this morning to find my computer's icloud and back up now also says only 31.1 MB of 5 GB used.

My question is where did that large backup dissapear too? Did it delete and get replaced by the storage that was on my phone at that time? Is there a way to find or get that backup back that was using 4.7 GB of 5 GB rather than this small one that was on my phone.

iPhone XR, iOS 14
