Reseller ID

Amazon does not support this function.

DEP or Automated Device Enrollment requires a connection that goes both ways, you need their reseller ID, and they would need your Apple Customer ID. The seller ties your Apple Customer ID to your purchasing account, and you tie their reseller ID to your Apple Business/School Manager.

Not all resellers support DEP. Amazon is one that does not.

If you wish to supervise devices purchased through a reseller that does not support DEP, you can use Apple Configurator 2 to get your devices supervised and enrolled in Apple Business/School Manager and your Mobile Device Management platform.

Is there a alternative solution to this then? Trying to supervise devices but most of our iPads were purchased through Amazon.
