We'd like to help answer your question as best we can regarding closed captioning during a FaceTime call.
While this isn't currently a feature included with FaceTime, you may be able to use another third-party app that includes it. We recommend visiting the App Store on your iPhone to read reviews on video calling apps that have this feature.
