Apple ID sign in problem

As of today, I have been experiencing an issue using my Apple ID to sign in the apple store on my iPhone 12. When the prompt comes up at the bottom of the screen to Sign In with Apple ID I get an error “signup not complete”. If I select “sign in with different account” I can enter my Apple ID and password through my saved passwords without issue. Also, when trying to view applications using Apple ID in settings, I get the error “could not connect to iCloud”. Lastly, when trying to view my apps and websites via “sign in with apple” on my account page at apple.com I get “an unknown error has occurred. Your request could not be completed due to an error. Try again later.” Really racking my brain over this. I tried reboot, signing out and back in, erase and restore from backup, all to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you recently move to another country/region? Let's make sure that your system date and time are set up correctly.


If you haven't yet, please try connecting your device to another network to see if it helps.


Also, please try all the steps from the article here: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services
