you can delete from the App Library by locating the app and tap/hold, select Delete App
or you can go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [app name] > Delete
If you still are unable to delete, check:
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps
make sure that's set to 'Allow'

-------
What and How to Delete:
Builtin apps cannot be deleted. However, third-party apps and apps purchased from the App Store can be deleted. So, to do so, hold down your finger of the icon, and then tap the white-colored "X" on the top-right corner of the icon. All will be deleted.

What "X" to tap:
The is a dull-white circle containing the "X". Malwarebytes is on there, and the image looks a bit tilted, because it is a screenshot that is wobbling. So, tap the "X"* and then tap "Delete"**
