Group Chat Disappeared

Hello. I’m in this group chat amongst 12 of my friends, all iPhone users. I opened my iMessage app a month ago, and the entire group chat disappeared right before my eyes.

Other members of the group chat confirmed that my contact is still in the group chat and that they’ve mentioned my contact/name in their messages. My option to get notified of mentions is toggled On as well. They’ve also tried removing me and re-adding me to the group chat. None of these methods worked.

I’ve tried resetting my iPhone multiple times, tried toggling iMessages Off and On again, tried signing out and signing back in iMessages, checked my Send and Recieve addresses, toggled all MMS, Send As SMS, and Group messaging options, and my Keep Messages option has always been set to Forever. I even checked my iCloud settings and cleared space for messaging. Nothing has worked. I have an iCloud backup, but the backup took place after the group chat had disappeared.

One odd thing is that when I search for the group chat under the search bar on my home screen, all the audio messages are still shown, yet when I tap them, it only redirects me to my iMessage home screen. And when I searched for the group chat photos under my iPhone storage setting and messages, they were all gone.

The most odd thing of all is that I can receive FaceTime calls from the group, and it’ll show the group chat name and all its members, however when I tried messaging through the group FaceTime, it created an entirely new group chat for everyone. And when exiting the call, the group chat name no longer shows, only showing each individual contact name under a group FaceTime.

Is there something wrong with my iPhone, my iMessage Account etc. that I’m unable to see or be in that group chat? I really would hate to make another group chat...

For reference, I’m using an iPhone XR and it is currently up to date on all updates.
