Recovering past location history from iphone

Hi there,

iPhone doesn't keep a solid log of location history, there is something called significant locations which your iPhone will sync your locations visited most significantly but doesn't keep a log of every location.

You can view the current location of your iPhone by logging into iCloud.com assuming you have find my iPhone enabled.

To find significant locations you need to open settings - privacy - location services - significant locations.

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Scroll down and tap Privacy.
3. Tap Location Services and scroll to the bottom.
4. Tap System Services.
5. Scroll to Significant Locations (called Frequent Locations in some versions of iOS).

There is no location history embedded in iOS.

There might be third-party apps you can use for this.
