Ipad 2 -lost in 2016 - passcode problem

Hello. I have found my ipad which was marked as lost on my apple id. I dont remember password but i still have password for apple id. Can i restart password somehow ?

its Ipad 2 last time used in 2016 and software is from 2016.

Here is what to do: If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
