If my ear buds were stolen, can I find out if someone is using them?

Ear buds are gone! Can I see if someone else is using them?

You can't actually tell when someone is using them, but you can potentially find where they were last located ... ONLY if the following are all true:

  • Find My iPhone must have been enabled BEFORE they were stolen.
  • The AirPods are within range of your devices (iOS or macOS).
  • They are not in their charging case.
  • They are still charged.
  • The AirPods have not been reset.
