My Seagate Backup Plus 5TB drive isn't mounting on my new M1 MacBook Pro with OS 11.2. I cannot get Paragon NTFS or Mounty to mount this drive.

Is Paragon compatible with the M1 Mac and Big Sur.
I have seen on this forum where the software can prevent mounting when it is incompatible.
Have you tried without Paragon installed?
You can’t just quit Paragon. You have to uninstall it.
If all else fails, use Windows to copy stuff from the NTFS disk to a exFAT formatted disk (preferably formatted with Mac's Disk Utility although the Windows exFAT defaults should be OK).
The drive won't mount without it.
Why not? macOS can mount NTFS volumes read only. Unless that has changed with the M1, you should be able to mount the drive read only without Paragon.

Yes Paragon NTFS for Mac latest version do work with M1 and Big Sur. Minor problem is when i eject TM drive after backup NTFS FSMenu will just crash. But this do norptcaffect ability to mount NTFS drive
Well, that's interesting. I quit Paragon NTFS. Disk Utility can see the device but won't mount the volume that's on it.
...as if Disk Utility is the last word... /s
