Hello darshan46,

Thank you for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities with your questions about Preview. We want to help get you pointed in the right direction. Have you had a chance to look over the Preview User Guide? If not, no worries! We've pulled a few specific articles that may help answer your questions.

To start, check out this guide with information on how to View PDFs and images in Preview on Mac. Keep in mind you can also See a PDF in Safari on Mac.

Additionally, here are some links to provide details on how to Use Preview to combine PDFs on your Mac and how to Add, delete, or move PDF pages in Preview on Mac.

We hope this information helps you out.

Cheers!

Thank you for your support. After a long period I could get the help from hp support team and they in turn sent a staff member after failing online methods. Their technician did resolve the issue, which is opening file after scanning but only in JPEG format and not in PDF.

I tried the method you recommended but could not succeed.

Thank you very much for your support. Only yesterday the matter was resolved hence this delay.
