Don't know the owner to take the activation lock off

I need to get the activation lock off my iphone but don't know the past owner cause it was given to me by someone who found and retrieved it the garbage in fixable condition. So how do I tale it off

You don't. You will not be able to remove the Activation Lock without the previous owner's credentials.
