Restoring

I am getting this error while restoring 2 of my different backups- Cannot restore because the backup was corrupt.

NOW, there's already a same question here but everyone said they updated their phone and it solved the problem, i have checked both my phone and itunes, they ARE up to date, so its not a problem of that, and

2) i only have one device in which i do backup and restore if it ever formats, now it's formatted thanks to another problem of storage full and bootloop issue, but in short i only have the backups and cannot create a new backup, not restoring from one phone to another but in the same phone.

i have tried 2 different backups and tried different cables and ports too, none helped so far

Hi yjjk100,

We understand you're having some problems restoring your iPhone from an iTunes backup, and we'd like to help.

The first step we would suggest is making sure that the software on your computer is updated as well, and all Windows updates have been installed. If the problem continues, it's possible that the data in the backup is corrupt, and in that case, you might not be able to restore the data unless you have another backup. We have more details here:

If you can't back up your iOS or iPadOS device to a computer or restore it from a backup

If you have any other questions or concerns, please be sure to let us know!

Take care.
